Dreams Do Come True

Over the past few months my family and I have been watching American Idol.  Actually we have been following a guy on the show that is from our town.  You may have heard of him because last night he won American Idol.  Yep that’s right, we’ve been watching, voting, and cheering for Philip Phillips. 

Last night was an amazing night not just because our guy from our small town of Leesburg, Ga won American Idol but because my daughter got it see his dreams come true.  She got to see a guy from the same walk of life as her, that graduated from the same high school that she will go to, and that eats (ate) at the same Mexican restaurant that she does fulfill his dreams. 

My hope is that see will see that if you work hard and practice hard and never give up that she too can be anything that she wants to be.  I hope that when she hears a Philip Phillips song on the radio or drives pass this sign (soon to be updated) that she will know that she can do anything or be anything that she wants to be.
