Jingle Bell Jog

The Jingle Bell Jog is the 3rd race in the Tri-South Georgia Road Race Series. This year was the 20th annual running of the Jingle Bell Jog. Today the weather could not have been any better for 300 or so runners who came out to the run.

Earlier in the week Chuck sent out an email to challenge anyone to beat Amy in the 10K. I replied, tell Amy to Get Ready. Big Mistake! I guess livin' in Small-bany everyone form the running club found out about the grudge match. The pressure was on.

The race was a chip timed event, which would have been cool because I would have gotten an actuate time. However, the race director, volunteer, or the Albany Police missed one of the turns. Which caused us to be about a mile short of the 10k. Big disappoint. But, you have to keep in mind the reason for the race is to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. So when you put it back in perspective you can't get too mad.

I believe that my finishing time was 41:21. I got second in my age group. And yes, I beat Amy.
