My boss says the magic number is 21. He says for someone to learn something new they have to be told 21 times or do it 21 times. He tells me that it takes 21 days to make a habit. And as you can tell he has told me this more than 21 times. Well today I’ve been training for my Ironman for, you guess it 21 days. Here are the stats for Week 18.
I only did two swims last week, total distance 1.9 miles. I blew off one of my workouts to hang out with my nephews. I took them to get ice cream and to see a movie. It was much better than doing a swim workout. I would have some pictures and videos to show you but I broke my camera.
I biked 75.2 miles. Which was just a little farther then the week before.
On the run I did 3 workouts of 19.7 miles in 3 hour and 10 minutes on the week.
I’m glad that this week of training is done. This week was tuff. I wanted to call it quits about have way thru. Next week should be better. Sarah Jane will be staying with me for a week. Plus next week is recovery week!
