B-Fit Challenge / Weekly Totals


Today I took the B-Fit Challenge. That is where you swim, bike, and run your age. I did the gold challenge where you do this all in 24 hours. I'm turning 27 so for the swim I had to take the first number of my age which was 2 and swim 2,000 yards. Then I biked 27 miles. Finally I ran 7 miles which is the second number of my age. Here is the break down.

The swim was simple nonstop 2,000 yard. I did it 28:50. That is a pace of 1:26 per hundred yards.

The bike was an out and back for 27 miles. The route was kinda an 'N' shaped (if that makes since). So I would have a head wind for a few miles then tail wind for a while and then a head wind and then a tail wind. Total time on the bike was 1:32:01. That is an average pace of 17.6 per mile.

I did the run right after the bike and my legs felt like lead. I finish the 7 mile run in 1:06:01.

As far as the rest of the week I didn't get a lot of training done. Christmas and family plans came first this week. Total time of training for the week was 6:31. That's a 27 miles on the bike, 25 miles of running, and 4,000 yards of swimming.

I almost laughed myself out of my chair at the pre-swimming speedo butt-shot... NICE. :)

I love the pic of you running in front of our house. I miss you, it was good to see that video... even if you were wearing a onesie. haha.

By the way, good job on the video. I love it. --- and I love you.
