Ending On A High Note

I'm retiring my current running shoes. I've been running in Saucony Grid Stability 6. I've gone 319.9 miles in them. I paid $64 for them and it turned out to cost me $0.20 per mile.

Races I ran in with the Saucony's

GA Vet Sprit Tri - 5K (PR for the race)

River Front Run - 1 mile fun run with Sarah Jane

Boston Mini Marathon - 13.1

YMCA Chili Run - 15 K

The Jingle Bell Jog - 10K

Disney Marathon - 26.2 - PR

I've hated these shoes since I've had them. They have givin me blisters and made my feet bleed after some runs. I'm not sure what I will do with this pair. I have two other retired running shoes that I wear. Do I need a third? I may save them and give them to Soles4Souls.

But Now I will be switching back to a shoe that I use to run in. I've had these since Christmas and I can't wait. They are lighter weight than the others. Here is a pic of my new Mizuno. I hope these shoes have a few PR's in them.

Thanks Mrs. Tri Runner for such a cool Christmas Gift!
