New York Cyclists Repaint Bike Lane

The DOT in New York removed 14 blocks of bike lanes that have been in uses since 2007. This stretch of bike lanes is needed for cyclists in the area because it provided a direct route to the Williamsburg Bridge. Some local outraged cyclists in the area decided to take the bike lanes back.

Here is a video of the guys in action. At the end of the video they explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. The cyclists say that they need the bike lanes for their safety. If the city tries to remove them that they will just put them back.
