Last week I was able to get in around 9+ hours of training. I spent about three and half hours during the first part of the week on the trainer watching college football. I also did a ton of sit ups, pull ups, and pushups after each of the bike rides. I did about 20 – 30 minutes of yoga. I got in two short runs of 30 minutes each covering about 3 miles each time.
On the weekend I was able to get out the door on Sunday for a 20 mile run the cold. I think I put on every piece of running clothing I owned to stay warm. I did a 3:1 run/walk. I took it nice an easy and was able to finish the 20 miles with no real problems. I ran the 20 miles a lot slower that what I would have liked. It took me three hours and fifty minutes to finish the run. However I think the slower pace and the walk breaks are making it to wear I’m not so sore today.
Only 53 more days till the Albany Marathon.

Nice job. It good that you went out slower. You will recover faster and be able to put it a tougher training run later on.
