Hey Guys! I know it's late but Happy New Year! I'm still here but just as busy as ever. I wanted to check in a give an update on My Training, Albany Run/Walk and Life in General.
Training
Two weeks ago I knocked out a super long run of 18 miles with my running group Albany Run/Walk. I've been doing a few shorter runs during the week in order to get ready for the Albany Marathon on March 5th. I'm thinking this year I will do the Half Marathon. I feel like I could do the full but I want to enjoy the day and I want to enjoy my training up until then. I don't want the pressure of having to get in all the miles. I want to enjoy running and not hate it. After all running is my hobby not my job. I've got too many other things to worry about.
I did get a few itunes gift cards for Christmas. I bought the 100 pushups, 20 chin ups, 200 sit ups, and 200 squats app for my ipod. So far I've loved it. I cannot say that I'm up to 7 chin ups. Go Me! I remember this time last year I could only do about 2. So I can say that it is working.
In The News:
I've also been on the news talking about bicycle safety. I was interviewed at the local bike shop last week. CLICK HERE to see the video/story. Mrs. Tri Runner loves how the camera lady zooms right in on my wedding ring.
Albany Run/Walk
This weekend I'm am going up to Atlanta, Ga to meet with Jeff Galloway and all of the Program Directors for his Run/Walk Program. I am super excited about this. I will get to see Jeff's Running Store tonight. On Saturday I will get to run with Jeff and the rest of the gang. Then we will be in meeting ALL Day on Saturday. Sunday we will run again and then Jeff will talk with us about a new program he is going to start. I can't wait. It should be alot of fun.

As most of you know my wife is a photographer and she has been doing it from home for a long time now. But coming this March, We are going to open up a Photography Studio & Children’s Boutique here in Albany. We are SO EXCITED about opening up our own shop. We have put in a lot of work with our business and it is starting to pay off. We are hoping for more good things to come. I'm sure I'll have more details about this later but I wanted to share I big news.
Life is Good!
