You got to love Christmas shopping with a 4 year old.
Last night my wife and I took Sarah Jane with us to Wal-Mart to do some Christmas shopping. Jay still has a lot of people on her list and she wanted me to go shopping with because she doesn't really like to go at night by herself. I guess she thinks I can protect her (yeah right). However I could swim 1,000 yards, bike 25 miles, and run a 10K to the furthest Police Station & call for help. But we all know the real reason I was there, To Push The Buggy.
So, while we were there Jay got some robes for the grandmothers and some other things. We decide to walked down the toy aile to look for some gifts for our nephews. Mean while Sarah Jane is see everything that is Pink & Disney Princess. And she wants everything.
My wife being the crafty gal that she is, is wrapping up a stuff cow and a costume that Sarah Jane wanted into and under the robes that we had in the buggy. Sarah Jane had know idea that we were doing this. I don't think this trick will work in a few years.
We were all so able to slip past her her very first bike. It is a little bit big for her, but I think it will be good by spring and perfect by the summer time. It's not Pink as you can tell, but it does have the Disney Princess on it. The bike comes with a back pack that Sarah Jane said she could put her dolls in & a water bottle just like her daddy.
May soon I'll have me a training buddy!
