Maps of Bike & Run
Click Here for my map of the Bike Course for the Self Supported Half Ironman.
Bike Course
The ride looks like a figure eight. I'll leave Tony's Gym and head out to Sassier, Ga. There is a Gas Station there that I can use as an Aid Station. The last 14 miles have to water stops and a gas station if I need them. The water stops are old country churches with outside water hoses.
The bike ride will start at a little under 250 feet of elevation. I will gain a total of 873 feet and lose 888 feet of elevation throught the ride. The highest point will come between mile 14 & 16 where I will top out at 350 feet of elevation. The back half of the course will be down hill from there. Funny how that worked out.

Run Course
The run is a two loop course. I plan to use T2 as my main Aid Station for the Run Course. The spots where I've mark for water are wooded areas that I will set out some water bottles to pick up on the run and I'll carry them with me.
There will be a few hills on the run of 20 feet. I will gain a total 155 feet of elevation and lose 153 feet of elevation throughout the run.
