Last week was another tuff week of training. I worked out for 8 hours and 13 minutes. and I skipped one of my work outs and cut another short. Here is the break down.
Swam - 6,000 yards for 1 hours & 51 minutes
Biked - 43.5 miles for 3 hours & 2 minutes
Ran - 19.3 miles for 3 hours & 20 minutes
This week will not be any easier. My coach has me schedule for over 13 hours. Ouch! I hope to get most of that in and still be married to my beautiful wife. I love and hate having a coach. I love it because I can see my self getting stronger and faster. I hate it because I feel like I have to get the work outs in. So when I miss a workout or don't finish I feel like I've let two people down - myself & my coach.
On Sunday I was scheduled to run 20 miles and or run 3 1/2 hours. Instead I ran 15.5 for 2:50. My legs gave up on me. I'm getting nervous about the Disney Marathon. I've got 4 weeks to get ready. I can't cram for a marathon. This race is not something that I can just go out and 'Wing It'. But no matter what happens between now and race day. I will finish the Disney marathon. I want the finishers medal. It is shaped like Mickey.

I hear you on the coaching thing. Just knowing that someone else is judging every workout that you do and making sure that you are doing what you need to do to meet your goals, has been keeping me completely honest.
2009 should be a sick season!
....13 hours is alot for a guy with a wife/daughter and a 52 hr a week job.
---just sayin'. :)
