Last week the plan was get in 7 hours of training. I managed to get only get 3 ½ hours in. Most of my training time was going to be done on the weekend but I had a little swelling going on with my foot. I’m not too sure what happened but on Saturday I got to play Disc Golf for the first time. I went out with my brother to the local course and we played 45 holes of Disc Golf. But once we were done my leg was itching. I don’t know if it was a bug or a plant but something got a hold of my leg and it is swollen up. I wasn’t able to get any training done on Saturday or Sunday because I didn’t want to put any stress on my foot. I’ve been keeping it elevated and I’m hoping that I’ll able to swim on Monday. Below are two pictures of my foot. Right now I’m having a hard time putting on my flip flops.
Last Weeks Training Results:
Monday: 2000 yard swim & 45 minute Bike Ride
Wednesday: 5.75 miles in 55 minutes
Thursday: 1350 yard swim in 25 minutes & 30 minute Run
Saturday: 2 & half hours of Disc Golf. I’m pretty sure Disc Golf won’t help me break the six hour mark on the Half Ironman but I was pretty tired and sore from throwing the Disc.
Hopefully next week’s will be better than the last. The plan calls for 7 & ½ hours of training.

Ow, dude! Based on what happened to one of my hands several years ago (looked just like your foot), I'd say it could be a spider bite. Might want to get it checked out, if you already haven't. Hope it heals quickly.
Disc golf is not for sissies or triathletes!

you need to see a doctor if the swelling hasn't gone down in 24hrs. You were bit by something. It looks painful.
