RIP - Michael Houser - January 6, 1962 - August 10, 2002
He was lead guitarist for my favorite band, Widespread Panic. He died seven years ago today. The band still tours but it’s not the same without Mickey.

What makes this song so cool is that Mickey wrote this song as a lullaby for his son Waker.
I was at this show with my brother. After the show I skipped school and went we my brother to Savannah, Ga to see them again. Those were some good times.

OMG, we have even MORE in common than I realized....I'm listening to a bootleg copy of the 2009 WSP tour opener in Orlando RIGHT NOW!! I'm on disc 2 of 4 at the moment. And yes, just not the same without Mikey. I was JUST THINKING that as I listened to Little Lily....
