Every year the city of Albany puts up a field of flags near the mall. My wife loves to take the kids to see the flags every year and take their picture. This year was Raleigh's first trip. Before we went to the field we told Sarah Jane the story of 9/11.
What's weird is that something that is so real to me and my wife is so confusing to her. She doesn't understand why someone would want to hurt mommies and daddies. I think it so important as parents that we tell our kids the story. I think by teaching them is how we never forget.
