My coach has got me doing some strength training workouts. I've been doing a lot of push ups, pull ups, crunches and now squats. I'm hoping that will all of the strength training I will be able to add some speed to my endurance.
So last night I did 5 pull ups. Then 5 sets of 20 push ups and 5 sets of 30 crunches. Then I did one set of squats. Once my legs caught on fire I figured I was done. I don't get it. Last Sunday I did a 3 hour ride and cover 51.5 miles but I could only do 60 seconds worth of air squats. That's got to change. Maybe I need the Trucker Hat like the girl in the video.

You have to convince your wife do do the double mint. Haha.
I'm convinced that when I do these, I'm somehow doing them wrong or I'm at least making myself look ridiculous. I may have to start doing these at home. :-)
