Let The Training Begin

Today started my 20 week climb to the Augusta 70.3. I'm excited & nervous. I love the idea of a new challenge but I know that it will be a long road to the finish line. This week I will be doing just over 7 hours of easy swimming, biking, and running. The training plan for this week is all about getting it done & keep up with sleep. Part of the challenge for me will be try to find the balance between Family, Work at Work, Work at Home, and Training.

Today I got in a 1700 yard swim. It took me just under 40 minutes.
warm up: 4 x 75 (last 25 yards backstroke)
main: 3 x 400 - each one faster than the last
cool down: 4 x 50 - each one gets slower than the last

By The Way, Don't Forget These Two Things!

I have yet to attempt a 'swimming' workout. I'd definitely be exhausted after any distance, so I think that was an awesome workout, ha! Can't wait to read more about your training for this. crazy!
