Training Update

Last week I got in 5.5 hours of training. I went for one swim, one bike ride on the trainer and the rest of the time I spent running. Most of my workouts last were during the week. I couldn't get in any longer runs or rides on the weekend because I had my daughter all weekend while my wife was working out of town.

Lately I've been trying to do more core work and strength workouts. I've found this cool video from the blog EverymanTri. It gives some get workouts that you can do at home. I've been doing them over the last few days and have loved it. They are perfect for me because sometimes I have to work late or when I'm trying to balance my time with my family I can still get in a good workout. I can't take my daughter with me on my bike but I can do these workouts while watching the Disney channel with her.

In case you didn't catch that in the video, do the following exercises 4-6x through (10-15 reps for each):

Push-Ups
Squats Hindu
Push-Ups Hindu
SquatsLateral Lunges
Front Plank

I'm sure you can throw in some pull ups and some crunches in the routine in as well. I hope this video helps you guys out. If you are as busy as me I know it will.
