Today, 9 years ago I started out the job that I currently have today. I was hired to wash dishes and cook chicken wings. I had been married for 2 months without a job and just found out we were expecting a baby in December. So, I was glad to have this job. At the time we were so broke and I could remember walking to work because my wife’s car broken down and she would drive my truck to her work. It didn’t take me long to move up to manager and then store manager. Then with some good luck and God’s Grace I was able to move up in the District Manager Position that I’m in now. Zaxby’s is a great franchise to work for and I have some of the best franchisors to work for as well.
I'm very thankful for the job I have and hopefully I will be here for another nine years.

Restaurants are great at bringing up talent! I would never have guessed "where you came from", but I think it's awesome. My father-in-law had a similar rise in Burger King. Too many people are caught up in the "stigma" of working in fast food but as you have shone, it's not a bad gig! To many more years of enjoyable employment :)
