Really the only thing I've got to do is practice getting use to swimming in a wetsuit. A friend of mine, twinathlete as she calls herself on twitter has hooked me up with a wetsuit for the race. How Sweet Is That! Turns out her husband is my size and no longer does triathlons so I got to borrow his for the weekend. Getting this wetsuit will be huge because #1 I've heard that the water temps are between 66 and 70 degrees. #2 Even thought I've never raced in a wetsuit I've been told that it will be make me about 3-5 minutes faster. So not only will I have the help from the wetsuit the I get to swim with the current so this could be a very fast swim split for a 1.2 mile swim.
Here I am in the wetsuit
I'm SOOOOO PUMPED for this race. I've got a new carbon bike and now a wetsuit for this race. It is shaping up to be very exciting with everything coming together.
